Jackson Walker is pleased to announce that Houston partner Alfie Meyerson has been selected to serve a two-year term on the Board of Trustees of the Holocaust Museum Houston. Alfie’s term began following the museum’s annual board meeting in May.

Established in 1996, the Holocaust Museum Houston teaches students and the public about the dangers of prejudice, hatred, and apathy in society. The museum is dedicated to educating people about the Holocaust and other genocides, remembering the six million Jews and other innocent victims, and honoring the survivors’ legacy. Holocaust Museum Houston is one of four Houston-area museums accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.

The museum’s Board of Trustees works with the museum president and its top administrators to approve major policies, make long range plans, and oversee the budget.
