July 27, 2017 | Spotlight

Jackson Walker has been named a top firm for diversity in The American Lawyer‘s 2017 Diversity Scorecard, coming in as the third most diverse among law firms headquartered in Texas. The firm moved up 13 spots in the rankings from 70th last year to 57th this year, with a score of 28.1. The firm’s Diversity Score, which is calculated by adding the percentage of minority attorneys to the percentage of minority partners, reflects Jackson Walker’s efforts to attract, retain, and promote a culturally diverse range of attorneys. By actively recruiting at law schools and events that serve a diverse group of students, the firm has consistently grown the number of minority attorneys it employs each year.
