Jackson Walker associate Brad Anderson will speak on professionalism and employer expectations at the Texas Tech University School of Law’s Regional Externship “Boot Camp” on January 9, 2014, in Austin, Texas.

Brad will serve as a panelist alongside other experienced attorneys, addressing 3L law students participating in the Externship Program. The panelists will share examples of professionalism mistakes new attorneys make, as well as advice on how to avoid or remedy them.

The Regional Externship program allows select law students to work as full-time externs during the spring semester while simultaneously taking a Tech Law class in Dallas/Fort Worth or Austin. As part of this program, the students attend a multi-day professionalism “Boot Camp” in early January. The boot camp includes several panels of attorneys and judges who address various professionalism, ethics, and civility topics.

Brad Anderson focuses his practice in the area of eminent domain. During his tenure with the Firm, he has facilitated the acquisition of more than 100 parcels required for completion of electric transmission lines throughout the state. Brad has also assisted municipalities and oil and gas corporations in the acquisition of property necessary to fulfill their respective public functions. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Texas Tech University School of Law, where he served as President of the Student Bar Association and the Vice Chair of Trial Advocacy for the Board of Barristers.
