Brian Prewitt Moderates Panel on Hot Topics and Trends in Intellectual Property Law

During the 24th Annual APIS Conference, Jackson Walker partner Brian Prewitt moderated a panel discussion entitled “IP4All – Hot Topics and Trends in Intellectual Property for All Attorneys.” Held on April 26, 2019, the panel included Chad Anson, Chief Intellectual Property Counsel, Forcepoint; Kenneth Liu, Senior Counsel, Texas Instruments; and Lisa Thomas, Counsel, Reed Smith.

Founded in 1995, the State Bar of Texas Asian Pacific Interest Section promotes the common professional interests of lawyers of Asian-Pacific Islander heritage in Texas and those lawyers having an interest in the affairs of the Asian community and the law of countries on the Pacific Rim.

Meet Brian

Brian K. Prewitt is an Austin intellectual property attorney focusing on matters relating to patents, trademarks, copyrights, technology development, technology acquisition, strategic alliances, intellectual property licensing, intellectual property due diligence, counseling, and litigation. Brian’s primary focus is in the area patent preparation and prosecution. During his career, Brian has authored over 500 patent applications ranging from cutting-edge computer and audio technologies to innovative consumer products. Since 2015, he has served as Chairperson for the Inventor of the Year/Awards Committee of the Austin Intellectual Property Law Association.
