Bryan Birkeland Named President of Globalaw

Jackson Walker partner Bryan Birkeland has been appointed to a two-year term as president of Globalaw, an international legal network.

A founding member of the organization, Bryan has served a previous term as president and has also served as Globalaw’s vice president, as a member of the Executive Committee, and as chairman of the Membership & Nominating Committee.

Globalaw, established in 1994, is one of the world’s top 10 legal networks. Composed of more than 115 independent law firms with approximately 4,500 lawyers practicing in over 80 countries worldwide, Globalaw provides the clients of its members “the global reach you need from the local firm you trust.”

Jackson Walker is a founding member of Globalaw and has been extensively involved with the organization from its inception. The firm was named 2014 Firm of the Year for the Americas by Globalaw and hosted Globalaw’s first-ever Managing Partner Forum in 2014, which drew managing partners from a number of states in the U.S. and provinces in Canada.
