Danielle Needham and John Jansonius Speak at 22nd Annual Employment Law Conference

Danielle Needham co-presented “Recent Developments under the National Labor Relations Act.” Her presentation focused on recent developments from the new expedited election rules to regulation of employer e-mail policies.

John Jansonius co-presented “Proving or Defending Against Mixed Motive Claims,” including tips and traps with the Mixed Motive Claims causation standard.

Danielle’s practice primarily consists of counseling clients and representing employers in a wide variety of state and federal labor and employment law matters, including disputes and claims arising under the National Labor Relations Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1991, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the anti-retaliation provisions of the Texas Workers’ Compensation Act, ERISA and other state and federal labor and employment statutes.

John has more than 35 years’ experience in labor and employment law. He focuses his practice on the defense of employment discrimination claims, wrongful discharge claims, unfair labor practice claims under the National Labor Relations Act, and denial of benefits claims under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act. He has represented clients in numerous jury and nonjury trials in state and federal court and has presented oral arguments to the U.S. Supreme Court and several federal courts of appeals.
