Jackson Walker successfully represented J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. in its acquisition of Reading Truck Body, a manufacturer of vocational work truck bodies. The transaction closed on October 30, 2015.

J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. (JBPCO) is a privately held, diversified manufacturing company with operating subsidiaries engaged in the production of commercial truck and van bodies, step-vans, funeral coaches, limousines, pick-up truck bed enclosures and tonneau covers, precision machined components, and expandable foam plastics. Reading Truck Body includes Reading Truck Body, LLC, which has a manufacturing plant in Reading, PA, as well as five company-owned installation facilities operating as Reading Equipment & Distribution, LLC. It will operate as an independent business unit within JBPCO.
