Jeffrey Kitner Appointed to Reinvestment Zone Twenty Board

Jackson Walker partner Jeff Kitner has been appointed by the Dallas City Council to the Reinvestment Zone Twenty Board (Mall Area Redevelopment).

The Reinvestment Zone Twenty Board makes recommendations to the Dallas City Council concerning redevelopment of the Mall Area Redevelopment Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District. The district includes the Valley View Center Mall and Southwest Center Mall areas. TIF districts allow the City of Dallas to reinvest tax dollars from the developments generating them.

Jeff focuses his practice on business litigation, with an emphasis on energy, real estate, healthcare, and collections matters. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of litigation matters in state and federal courts in Texas. In addition to his traditional litigation practice, he also consistently participates in regulatory proceedings before the Public Utility Commission and the State Office Administrative Hearings.
