Mary Lou Flynn-DuPart Speaks at General Counsel Institute’s Discovery Program Series

Jackson Walker partner Mary Lou Flynn–DuPart will speak at “The Exchange” Houston, an interactive corporate e–discovery program series hosted by Today’s General Counsel Institute. The event will be held on September 9 – 10, 2014, in Houston, Texas.

The Exchange conference will provide a deep understanding and practical advice regarding major e–discovery challenges facing organizations today. Ms. Flynn–DuPart will serve as a panel member for a discussion titled “Meeting the Continuous Challenge of Litigation Holds and Preservations.” The discussion will cover topics such as “Can proportionality be achieved early in the process?,” “Will the proposed rules changes help?,” and “Can e–mail janitors and preservation co–exist?”

Ms. Flynn–DuPart is a litigation attorney who specializes in trying cases as well as helping clients navigate the changing landscape of electronic discovery in complex commercial and intellectual property litigation. She has been acting as first chair trial counsel for her clients since 1986. Ms. Flynn–DuPart received her B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. She also attended the University of Texas at El Paso. Ms. Flynn–DuPart received her J.D. degree, cum laude, from South Texas College of Law, where she was Assistant Technical Editor of the South Texas Law Journal.
