Michael Baldwin and Mark Comuzzie Speak at the 2014 Texas Graduate Trust School

Jackson Walker partners Michael Baldwin and Mark Comuzzie spoke at the 2014 Texas Graduate Trust School on July 21–22, 2014 in Dallas, Texas.

Sponsored by the Texas Bankers Association (Wealth Management and Trust Division), the Graduate Texas Trust School is a comprehensive, intermediate course designed to provide former Trust School students and other trust professionals with a logical next step in their professional development. Mr. Baldwin delivered a presentation titled “Estate, Gift, and Inheritance Tax,” while Mr. Comuzzie delivered a presentation titled “Generation Skipping Trusts.” This was Mr. Baldwin’s tenth year to speak at the event and Mr. Comuzzie’s twelfth.

Mr. Baldwin’s wealth transfer planning and private client practice focuses on representation of and counsel to high net worth individuals, affluent families, family offices, family and non–family business entities, estates, trusts, and charitable entities. The primary focus of Mr. Baldwin’s representation of individuals and families is the preservation of wealth and the efficient transfer of wealth among generations. Mr. Baldwin received his B.A. in business from Baylor University, his J.D. from Louisiana State University and his LL.M (Tax) from the University of Denver. Mr. Baldwin is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.

Mr. Comuzzie’s practice focuses on estate planning, probate, estate and trust administration, federal estate, gift, and income tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service, as well as trust, estate and fiduciary litigation. Mr. Comuzzie is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is also licensed in Texas as a certified public accountant. Mr. Comuzzie received his B.B.A. from Texas A&M University and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center.
