Randy Farber Speaks at State Bar of Texas Bar Leaders Conference

Mr. Farber served as a panel member for the discussion, “Embrace the Power of Difference,” which addressed ways to foster diverse and inclusive environments for local bar associations.

Mr. Farber practices primarily in the real estate, finance, and corporate areas. In the real estate area, he has represented purchasers and sellers of commercial and residential properties including office buildings, apartment complexes, and shopping centers; developers of commercial and residential properties; lenders and borrowers in loan workouts and foreclosures; landlords and tenants in commercial, residential, and ground leases; and community associations in connection with the creation and amendment of deed restrictions, deed restriction enforcement, and general corporate matters. Mr. Farber’s experience in finance includes the representation of financial institutions in connection with real estate based loans, asset based loans, and general commercial loans. In the corporate area, he has advised entrepreneurs concerning the advantages and disadvantages of utilizing different forms of business entities. Mr. Farber received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis. He received his M.B.A., cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Houston, where he was selected as a member of the Order of the Coif and was MIS Editor for the University of Houston Law Review.
