Three Jackson Walker Partners Included in D Magazine’s “Best Lawyers Under 40” List

Jackson Walker is proud to announce that Nathaniel St. Clair, Mario Perez Dolan, and Alden S. Crow, all partners in our Dallas office, have been included in D Magazine’s 2017 “Best Lawyers Under 40” list honoring the city’s up-and-coming attorneys. To begin the selection process, those named to the list are nominated by fellow Texas attorneys. They are then evaluated by an anonymous panel of eminent attorneys who assist the magazine editors in the final selection. The 2017 “Best Lawyers Under 40” honorees will be featured in the January 2018 issue of D Magazine.

Nathaniel St. Clair is an Intellectual Property lawyer with nearly 15 years of experience in protecting IP rights and counseling clients in a wide range of IP matters, with an emphasis on patent litigation and patent portfolio licensing and management. His experience ranges from advocating for his clients before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in high-stakes patent litigation matters to counseling clients regarding patent and trademark procurement before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Most recently, he argued and secured two major patent appellate victories in consecutive years before the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C. He also provides strategic counsel to clients in other areas of IP, including sports, entertainment, media, and publishing. Nate is a sought-after speaker and has been published on various legal topics, including his 2016 publication in Inside the Minds: Navigating Fashion Law, published by Thomson Reuters.

 

Mario Perez Dolan is a member of our Corporate and Securities section. In the mergers and acquisitions portion of his practice, Mario represents both purchasers and sellers in negotiated transactions in a variety of industries. His experience includes representations of strategic purchasers and private equity clients in the acquisition or disposition of operating businesses, as well as controlling or minority ownership positions. Mario also has extensive experience in counseling clients with respect to joint ventures and other formation and corporate governance matters, as well as advising clients on securities matters including fund formation, private offerings, and venture capital financings.

 

Alden S. Crow is a Dallas transactional lawyer with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity securities offerings, outside counsel representation, and general corporate matters. He routinely assists clients in all types of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint venture formations, and in negotiating and settling business “divorces”, indemnification, and other transactional disputes. He has worked with clients in a broad range of industries and has developed particular experience assisting clients in the healthcare sector. In addition to his transactional practice, he works as part of a team that represents family-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and startup and emerging growth companies from the earliest stages of formation through significant liquidity events.
