In corporate and securities law, experience counts. Attorneys in this challenging arena must possess a deep understanding of corporate governance, finance, investments and taxation – often across multiple jurisdictions.

With over 30 years of experience in the field, Brandon Janes possesses the kind of comprehensive, deal-based knowledge that makes difficult transactions seem simple.

“What I enjoy is untangling complicated matters and helping clients achieve favorable results through creative solutions,” he says.

Brandon represents both privately held and public companies in all areas of corporate governance, capital transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. Much of his practice includes cross-border and international transactions in a wide variety of industries, including technology, media, energy, and retail. He also has experience in hedge funds, private-equity investments, and debt and equity offerings. Brandon is board certified in tax law and a Certified Public Accountant – additional qualifications that help him analyze complicated deal structures.

Brandon understands the challenges that companies face doing business in the global economy. He has represented clients in multimillion-dollar international mergers and currently advises a multibillion-dollar pension fund on its private equity and hedge fund investments.
