The prestigious list features highly recommended practitioners in private practice in over 40 jurisdictions and is based on market feedback and other independent information gathered by a team of researchers. The results are published in Managing IP’s annual “IP Stars” handbook.

With more than 15 years of experience, Wasif has represented and counseled businesses from start-ups to Fortune 100 and other worldwide companies in various types of IP legal matters. His clients, which include top companies in their respective industries, count on Wasif to navigate through complicated IP issues and obtain successful results. Wasif is particularly experienced in patent litigation, a practice in which he is recognized as a top practitioner at both the state and national levels. He has been named to the “Outstanding IP Litigator” Shortlist by Managing Intellectual Property, a recognition received by less than 100 of the top IP litigators in the country and less than 10 in Texas. In addition to litigation, Wasif has prosecuted hundreds of patent applications and has substantial experience in IP diligence, licensing, and opinion work.

Wasif received his B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering, with honors, from the University of Houston and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.
