Jason P. Reinsch

Biography

Jason P. Reinsch is a trial lawyer in the firm's commercial litigation group and represents clients in a wide variety of industries in state and federal litigation and arbitration. Mr. Reinsch's clients range from multi-national corporations to family-owned businesses to individuals. His experience covers an assortment of matters including complex commercial litigation, securities litigation and arbitration, intellectual property litigation, oil and gas litigation, insurance coverage disputes, bankruptcy, and disputes with regulatory agencies such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Mr. Reinsch prides himself on identifying and then obtaining his client's ultimate objective, be it through litigation or alternative dispute resolution.

Notable examples of Mr. Reinsch's experience include:

  • Winning a "take nothing" jury verdict in favor of a broker-dealer and registered representative against various claims of RICO, civil conspiracy, negligent misrepresentation, and negligent supervision
  • Trying FINRA arbitration actions to favorable verdicts on behalf of broker-dealers
  • Guiding a pharmaceutical company to resumption of operations following a Warning Letter and multiple Form 483 Observations, which resulted in a regulatory action brought by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration
  • Winning summary judgments in favor of national financial services companies against various claims including the Texas and Federal Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act
  • Winning summary judgment on behalf of various print and broadcast media companies on defamation claims
  • Defeating a former employee's attempt to impose a temporary injunction against a health care provider
  • Representing oil and gas companies in various contract and partnership disputes
  • Obtaining a favorable settlement in a multi-million-dollar title insurance coverage lawsuit
  • Obtaining a favorable settlement for a family-owned business against allegations of copyright infringement due to the use of images on a website
  • Representing commercial landlords in various tenant disputes
  • Representing receivers and special masters in actions to distribute ill-gotten gains to aggrieved investors
  • Winning summary judgments in favor of banks and other financial service companies

Military

Mr. Reinsch is a Commander in the United States Navy (1998 - present). He is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom. He previously served on active duty onboard USS Antietam (CG-54) and USS Coronado (AGF-11). He continues his service in the Reserve Component of the United States Navy previously with Commander, Seventh Fleet (NR COMSEVENTHFLT) and Amphibious Construction Battalion One (NR PHIB CB 1 Det. 109).

Organization Membership

Mr. Reinsch is a Fellow of the Dallas Bar Foundation, as well as a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and Young Professionals for the Greater Dallas Chamber.

Community Involvement

Mr. Reinsch serves on the Board of Directors for the Dallas Children's Theater. Mr. Reinsch has also served on the planning boards for various veteran and military fundraising events such as the Greater Dallas Military Ball.

Mr. Reinsch provides pro bono legal services through the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program and the Veteran's Assistance Clinic and to the SPCA of Texas.
