Biography

Jason P. Reinsch is a trial lawyer in the firm's commercial litigation group and represents clients in a wide variety of industries in state and federal litigation and arbitration. Mr. Reinsch's clients range from multi-national corporations to family-owned businesses to individuals. His experience covers an assortment of matters including complex commercial litigation, securities litigation and arbitration, intellectual property litigation, oil and gas litigation, insurance coverage disputes, bankruptcy, and disputes with regulatory agencies such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Mr. Reinsch prides himself on identifying and then obtaining his client's ultimate objective, be it through litigation or alternative dispute resolution.

Notable examples of Mr. Reinsch's experience include:

• Winning a full jury verdict in favor of a broker-dealer against various claims of RICO, civil conspiracy, negligent misrepresentation, and negligent supervision
• Obtaining summary judgment on behalf of various print and broadcast media companies on defamation claims
• Trying FINRA arbitration actions to favorable verdicts on behalf of broker-dealers
• Winning summary judgments in favor of national financial services companies against various claims including the Texas and Federal Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act
• Defeating a former employee's attempt to impose a temporary injunction against a health care provider
• Representing oil and gas companies in various contract and partnership disputes
• Obtaining a favorable settlement for a family-owned business against allegations of copyright infringement due to the use of images on a website
• Winning summary judgments in favor of banks and other financial service companies
• Representing receivers and special masters in actions to distribute ill-gotten gains to aggrieved investors

Military

Mr. Reinsch is a Commander (select) in the United States Navy (1998 - present). He previously served on active duty onboard USS Antietam (CG-54) and USS Coronado (AGF-11). He is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom. He continues his service in the Reserve Component of the United States Navy previously with Commander, Seventh Fleet (NR COMSEVENTHFLT) and Amphibious Construction Battalion One (NR PHIB CB 1 Det. 109).

Mr. Reinsch is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and Young Professionals for the Greater Dallas Chamber.

Mr. Reinsch provides pro bono legal services through Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts and the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program.
