Biography With more than 30 years' experience serving as in-house and outside counsel at leading energy and technology companies and in private practice, Jeffrey R. Harder has a unique blend of legal and business expertise that enables him to advise and represent clients on corporate and securities matters in a wide variety of industries. Nine of those years were in the oil industry at Exxon, Amoco and Mitchell Energy and Development Corp. He was also Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel at The ForeFront Group, Inc., a NASDAQ listed public internet and computer based training company.Mr. Harder's experience includes having worked with venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and emerging life science, energy and information technology companies throughout the country. He regularly represents and advises companies in complex corporate matters, including IPOs, PIPEs, proxy contests, tender offers, going-private transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate partner and license transactions. He also represents companies and venture capital partnerships on their ongoing regulatory compliance matters. Mr. Harder has assisted in establishing numerous companies by drafting initial technology transfer license agreements and other formation documents with a wide variety of institutions. He has handled virtually all types of financing transactions on behalf of public, private and emerging companies, including taking companies through the angel, venture capital, and initial public offering process; handling their sale or merger to public corporations; or private equity firms; corporate partner licensing; and strategic alliance transactions. Mr. Harder's experience enables him to understand the complex issues surrounding establishment of a successful new venture and greatly facilitates his ability to provide counsel to entrepreneurs and boards of directors and successfully complete the transaction. His familiarity with investors of all kinds also enhances his ability to assist his clients in raising the capital necessary to develop their technology. More about Jeffrey R.
