 Biography Sara Hollan Chelette is a partner in the litigation section of Jackson Walker. Ms. Chelette's practice focuses on corporate and construction litigation as well as related appellate work. Ms. Chelette's corporate litigation practice involves breach of contract and business tort disputes. That practice includes experience in international arbitrations. Her construction practice involves cases relating to construction defects, breaches of contract, and mechanic's liens.Ms. Chelette also has practiced in a wide variety of other areas. She has assisted clients in cases involving trade secrets, covenants-not-to-compete, accounting malpractice, securities laws, and intellectual property. Ms. Chelette has represented clients in litigation against municipalities relating to ordinance dispute issues. Ms. Chelette is also experienced in class action defense. She is on the board of directors of My Very Own Book, a nonprofit organization that runs reading incentive programs in elementary schools in low-income neighborhoods throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She also volunteers as an instructor at the Literacy Institute for Texas (LIFT) teaching adult literacy classes and is a member of the State Fair of Texas' raffle committee, which raises money for scholarships.
