SAN ANTONIO, Texas—Jackson Walker and attorneys from Gresham, Davis, Gregory, Worthy and Moore, one of San Antonio’s oldest law firms, will join forces effective April 1. The addition of eight attorneys from Gresham, Davis moves Jackson Walker’s ranking up to the fifth largest law firm in San Antonio according to the 2001Â Book of Lists.
Founded in 1880, Gresham, Davis is a full-service law firm whose clients include Peter Holt and the Holt Companies, The San Antonio Spurs, Air Force Village Retirement Facilities, real estate developer Charles Martin Wender, New York Stick Exchange listed company Bluegreen Corporation, D. Gresham, Davis’ partners include former United Way president Richard Moore, Nancy Norman, Claiborne Gregory, Jr. and Peter Hosey, in addition to Trinity University Board of Trustee Marshall Miller.
The addition gives Jackson Walker a total of 300 attorneys statewide and places Jackson Walker in the unique position of being the only law firm with a top-ten ranking in four major Texas cities. According to the rankings listed in the 2001Â Book of Lists published in each city, Jackson Walker offices in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, and San Antonio are now among the top-ten law firms based on number of attorneys in each city. Jackson Walker is ranked in the top-twelve law firms in Houston as well.
