Biography
Liz Gilman serves as the Director of Lateral Partner Recruiting at Jackson Walker, where she provides oversight and strategic direction for all lateral partner and senior counsel hires. Liz and her team collaborate closely with the firm’s leadership, including the firmwide managing partner, office managing partners, and practice group leaders, to attract top talent in the legal industry.
Prior to Jackson Walker, Liz served as the Manager of Attorney Employment & Events at Andrews Kurth Kenyon LLP (now known as Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP). In that role, she implemented the firmwide lateral hiring process for all attorney positions and managed the planning and execution of all attorney and client events across the firm. Her extensive experience in legal recruiting has been instrumental in shaping her strategic approach to talent acquisition and event management.
With over 12 years of experience in the legal recruiting industry, Liz has been actively involved in several professional organizations. She is a member of the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) and has previously been involved in the Houston Association of Legal Recruitment Administrators (HALRA) and the Recruiting Administrators of Austin (RAA).
