Jackson Walker attorney Brandon Durrett presented an update on Texas case law involving the deductibility of post-production costs (PPCs) at a luncheon hosted by the Dallas Bar Association’s Energy Law Section on March 15, 2023.

During the presentation, Brandon covered various Texas cases on the deductibility of PPCs as well as recent cases analyzing “add-back” clauses in the context of PPC deductibility.

Brandon is a board-certified oil and gas attorney focused on acquisitions and dispositions, commercial industry agreements, and complex disputes over upstream and midstream oil and gas assets. Licensed to practice in Texas and New Mexico, he regularly speaks on topics such as oil and gas deals, disputes, and cases.
