Jackson Walker continued its firmwide 6-1-1—Six Offices, One Day, One Mission—Day of Service tradition on June 11, bringing together more than 200 volunteers across the firm’s six offices to support local nonprofit organizations and neighbors in need.
The initiative, first launched last year, reflects Jackson Walker’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities it serves. This year’s volunteers served meals, distributed groceries, and assembled care packages for nine charitable organizations across Texas.
Participating organizations included Central Texas Food Bank, Caritas of Austin, The Stewpot, Dallas LIFE, Alliance for Children, Kids’ Meals, Meals for the Elderly, San Antonio Food Bank, and Christian Assistance Ministries.
“Giving back to the communities where we live and work is embedded in our culture and reflects the very best of Jackson Walker,” said Firmwide Managing Partner Wade Cooper. “When we come together with a shared purpose, we demonstrate what it means to live our values through action.”
The 2026 effort builds on the momentum of Jackson Walker’s inaugural 6-1-1 Day of Service last year, as well as the firm’s 6-1-1 Day in February, themed “Gratitude in Action,” which featured a letter-writing campaign dedicated to military service members. Together, these initiatives underscore the firm’s broader commitment to service, pro bono work, and community engagement throughout Texas, while fostering a culture of belonging and inclusion across the firm and the communities it serves.
