Jim Griffin Speaks at Employee Benefit Plan Conference on 401(k) Compliance

Jim addressed current topics of interest in 401(k) plan compliance. Jim described the user friendly rules recently announced by the IRS for missed deferral opportunities in Revenue Procedure 2015-28. In addition, Jim alerted attendees to the April 30, 2016, deadline for amendments to 401(k) plans that have been pre-approved by the Internal Revenue Service.

The Employee Benefit Plan Conference features informative topics pertaining to the oversight and administration of benefits and retirement plans that are vital for human resources and benefits professionals.

The keynote speaker for the 2015 conference was Mayor Betty Price of Fort Worth, Texas.

Jim advises clients on legal issues involving employee benefit plans. He works closely with the ever-changing Internal Revenue Code and ERISA.
