Judy Bennett Garner Joins 2018 NELC Academy

Jackson Walker associate Judy Bennett Garner has been selected as a Fellow of the 2018 National Employment Law Council (NELC) Academy. As a Fellow, Judy joins a group of minority attorneys with less than four years’ experience in management-side labor and employment law as they network with and learn from established trial attorneys and in-house counsel.

Founded in 1995, the NELC is an organization of management-side labor and employment law attorneys and human resources leaders that provides a platform for relationship-building, professional advancement, and mentoring. The NELC Academy launched in 2011 to facilitate the success of minority attorneys with less than four years of labor and employment defense experience.

Meet Judy

Labor and employment attorney Judy Bennett Garner counsels employers in industries such as transportation, healthcare, technology, and financial services. Judy takes a service-oriented approach when advising and representing employers in all areas of labor and employment law, including matters involving discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and labor relations. She is involved in the J.L. Turner Legal Association, the Labor and Employment Section of the Dallas Bar Association, and the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
