Jackson Walker partner Robert Harlow was featured in a March 17, 2016, Law360 article titled “DLA Piper Steers $125M Brooklyn Rental Property Deal” (subscription required). Mr. Harlow was a leading member of the team that represented Capital One as the financer in this deal. Capital One provided $68.75 in assumption financing and $14.75 million in new financing for the $125 million purchase of a large multifamily property in one of Brooklyn’s most popular neighborhoods.

Mr. Harlow concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of banking and finance, and commercial real estate. In the banking and finance area, he has documented and closed numerous construction loans, term loans, and loan modifications. In commercial real estate, Mr. Harlow devotes much time to the negotiation and drafting of commercial leases, easements, parking agreements, development agreements and real estate purchase and sale agreements. He also advises clients on real estate development projects, with a particular emphasis on industrial and multifamily properties. Mr. Harlow earned his B.B.A. degree from the University of Texas with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. He earned his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center.
