Jackson Walker is pleased to announce that Noel Valdez has joined the firm’s Public Finance Practice Group as Senior Counsel. Noel brings over two decades of experience representing governmental entities and investment banking firms in complex public finance transactions throughout Texas.

Noel has served as bond counsel, special disclosure counsel, and underwriters’ counsel, representing cities, counties, school districts, and other governmental entities in connection with financing essential public services and facilities. His work has also included innovative economic development projects backed by diverse revenue streams and including multiple interested parties.

Noel received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. from Cornell Law School.
