Jackson Walker partner Diana Pérez Gomez will speak at TexasBarCLE’s 25th Annual Advanced In-House Counsel Course, taking place August 27-28, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort in San Antonio.

The Advanced In-House Counsel Course is designed for in-house attorneys seeking practical guidance on complex and evolving legal issues. The program is co-sponsored by the Business Law and Corporate Counsel Sections of the State Bar of Texas.

Diana will present “Employment Law & In-House Counsel” alongside Elizabeth J. “BB” Sanford (The Sanford Firm). Their presentation will address employment law considerations that in-house counsel should keep in mind when advising businesses on workplace issues, compliance, and litigation risk.

Throughout the two-day program, judges, attorneys, and other legal professionals will examine recent developments, practical strategies, and anticipated changes affecting corporate legal departments and the counsel who advise them.

Meet Diana

Diana Pérez Gomez is a partner in Jackson Walker’s Labor & Employment practice, where she represents businesses in complex employment disputes in state and federal courts. She provides comprehensive employment counsel, including pre-termination advice, internal investigations, EEO training, policy drafting, and employment agreement negotiations. Diana also defends clients in administrative proceedings and litigation involving non-competes, discrimination, retaliation, FLSA, and ERISA claims. In addition to her litigation practice, she advises employers on compliance and best practices to help minimize legal risks.
