Jackson Walker is proud to announce that partner Phil Kim has been elected as Southwest Regional Governor for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA).
As Southwest Regional Governor, Phil represents all attorneys that are members of NAPABA in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah. In this role, he works with staff and fellow board members to assist with setting the strategic direction of the organization.
Founded in 1988, NAPABA is the largest Asian Pacific American membership organization in the country, representing 80,000 attorneys, judges, law professor, and law students. The organization works to achieve âoptimal representation and influence of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander attorneys in every facet and level of the legal profession and beyond.â

Meet Phil
Phil Kim is a partner in Jackson Walkerâs Dallas office and is Chambers-ranked in Healthcare & Life Sciences. Phil advises providers and industry participants on complex transactional and regulatory matters. He counsels private equity firms, digital health companies, health systems, hospitals, pharmacies, ambulatory surgery centers, physician groups (including NPHOs), home health providers, hospices, and other healthcare companies on buy- and sell-side M&A, joint ventures, and operational issues encompassing regulatory, licensure, contractual, and administrative considerations. Phil has led regulatory legal teams on a wide range of healthcare transactions, including some of the most significant multi-billion dollar deals in the sector.
