Jackson Walker partner Stephanie Chandler is one of a select group of women who have been asked to serve as mentors in the San Antonio Business Journal‘s seminar, “Bizwomen Mentoring Monday,” on Apr. 7, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas.

Following a live broadcast interview with entrepreneur Lori Greiner, well known for her roll on ABC’s Shark Tank, attendees will have the opportunity to choose from 40 mentors who are the most influential women in the community for one–on–one coaching sessions that will last five minutes. Along with Ms. Chandler, other mentors include regional leaders like Janie Barrera, CEO of Accion Texas–Lousiana, Katie Harvey, CEO of KGBTexas, Brenda Johnson, CEO of Vickrey & Associates, Inc. and Carolyn Labatt, CEO of Computer Solutions.

Ms. Chandler’s practice emphasizes securities transactions, reporting and compliance; mergers and acquisitions; technology licensing and commercialization, and general corporate work. She assists clients with both the formation of organizations, public and private offering of securities, governance issues and shareholder proxy contests, as well as Securities Act and Exchange Act compliance matters. Her track record of working with clients from the earliest stages of their development through significant liquidity events, typically in the role of outside general counsel managing the legal issues related to each growth stage, allows her to bring a uniquely broad-based perspective to the matters she handles. Ms. Chandler received her B.S.B.A. from the University of Nebraska and her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
