Jonathan Vinson Joins “Finding the Right Site” Panel at TREC Real Estate Bootcamp

Jackson Walker partner Jonathan G. Vinson spoke on a panel at The Real Estate Council’s (TREC) Real Estate Bootcamp on Thursday, June 3. The panel, entitled “Finding the Right Site,” discussed the elements of a great site, common oversights for developers, due diligence, and advice for development teams. Fellow panelists included Jim Knight (KFM Engineering & Design) as moderator, Mark Godfrey (Cawley Partners), Darren James (KAI Enterprises), and Josh Millsap (KFM Engineering & Design).

Meet Jonathan

Jonathan G. Vinson represents developers, property owners, and corporate, nonprofit, and individual clients in zoning, planning, municipal law, and economic development incentives matters. Jonathan enjoys the challenges and complexities of development and redevelopment projects in denser, more urban settings, especially mixed-use and higher density multifamily projects, and he has worked on numerous projects in the Uptown and Oak Lawn areas, in particular. Outside of his practice, he is involved with the North Texas Urban Land Institute, the American Planning Association’s North Texas Chapter, the Greater Dallas Planning Council, and the Congress for New Urbanism. He served on the Dallas City Plan Commission from 1991 to 1995.
