Jackson Walker proudly welcomes Claire N. Raggio and Brian Merkley to the Dallas office. Claire joins the Firm as a partner and the chair of the Dallas Wealth Planning group, and Brian joins as senior counsel.

Also a licensed certified public accountant, Claire is well-versed in the various complex issues that arise when dealing with gift, estate, and income tax matters. Her practice is primarily devoted to advising high-net-worth individuals regarding trusts, estate planning, probate, and estate administration. She also represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries of estates and trusts and advises clients regarding related business and tax planning matters.
She received her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law and her B.B.A. and M.S. in Accounting from Southern Methodist University.
Brian advises individuals and closely held businesses in preparing and implementing plans that preserve and transfer wealth, achieve business objectives, and protect assets from potential claims and lawsuits. He is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Brian received his J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law and his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Oklahoma.
