Biography
Barbara Bell Malin serves as the Chief Business Development & Marketing Officer at Jackson Walker. She collaborates with firm leadership and her team of client development, communications, events, and marketing technology professionals to design and implement go-to-market strategies that prioritize client service and satisfaction. As part of her role, she co-leads Jackson Walker’s emerging technologies group.
Since joining Jackson Walker in 2016, Barbara has been instrumental in designing and executing the firm’s business development and marketing communications initiatives. Her responsibilities encompass practice planning, business and market intelligence, client development, public relations, strategic communications, and brand management. Under her leadership, Jackson Walker has seen consistent revenue growth. Barbara is dedicated to advancing the firm’s belonging and inclusion initiatives and pro bono service goals as a critical component of Jackson Walker’s business strategy.
Barbara’s approach to business development and marketing is deeply informed by her background as a practicing attorney, which includes extensive trial and appellate work. After graduating from law school, she served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Sidney A. Fitzwater of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Barbara is a member of the firm’s business professional leadership team and serves on the Business Development Committee for Jackson Walker’s international network, Globalaw.
