Biography
Foster Ford advises individuals, families, and business owners on trust and estate planning and private wealth matters, including sophisticated strategies designed to preserve wealth and minimize estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes. With a client-focused approach, Foster delivers tailored solutions that preserve legacies across generations.
Foster’s services and strengths include:
- Estate Planning: Development and implementation of custom plans for both taxable and non-taxable estates, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and related documents.
- Tax-Efficient Strategies: Design and application of advanced techniques to transfer wealth and reduce exposure to transfer taxes.
- Business Succession Planning: Formation, operation, and transfer of family business and property ventures, including family limited partnerships and limited liability companies.
- Estate and Trust Administration: Administration of estates and trusts, including the probate of wills, preparation of estate settlement agreements, and management of fiduciary litigation matters.
- Additional Services: Marital property planning (including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements), preparation of federal gift and estate tax returns, and asset protection planning.
Committed to serving both his profession and his community, Foster is actively involved in the Dallas Bar Association’s Probate, Trusts, and Estates Section and the State Bar of Texas’ Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law Section. He also dedicates his time to pro bono work through the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program and serves on the Special Olympics Young Professionals Board.
