Biography
Foster Ford advises individuals, families, and business owners on trust and estate planning and private wealth matters, including sophisticated strategies to preserve wealth and minimize estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes. With a client-focused approach, Foster delivers tailored solutions that protect family legacies across generations.
Foster’s practice includes:
- Estate, trust, and marital property planning
- Wealth transfer techniques and asset protection
- Administration of estates and trusts, including probate, preparation of estate tax returns and settlement agreements, and fiduciary litigation matters
- Pre-sale and liquidity event planning for founders, executives, and business owners, including QSBS and stock option planning
- Business succession planning involving the formation and transfer of family business and property ventures, including family limited partnerships and limited liability companies
Foster is actively involved in the Dallas Bar Association’s Probate, Trusts, and Estates Section and the State Bar of Texas’ Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law Section. He is committed to pro bono service through the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program and serves on the Special Olympics Young Professionals Board.
