Biography
Meghan Pier serves as the Senior Director of Legal Recruiting at Jackson Walker, where she leads the firm’s comprehensive legal recruiting strategy across all offices. She oversees lateral associate and counsel hiring, professional services recruiting, law school recruiting, and the firm’s Summer Associate Program, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality recruiting experience aligned with the firm’s long‑term growth objectives. Meghan is instrumental in developing and leading recruiting strategies that align with the firm’s legal talent initiatives, ensuring they are in sync with the latest recruitment trends. She collaborates closely with department and practice group leadership to guarantee the seamless integration of all legal talent.
In her role, Meghan works in tandem with the firm’s Attorney Development and Belonging & Inclusion teams to attract, integrate, develop, retain, and promote a diverse group of lawyers who are well-equipped to meet the needs of Jackson Walker’s clients.
Meghan is deeply committed to mentoring first-generation students and supporting pipeline programs that nurture diverse talent. In 2022, she co-created and funded the PracticePro Pre-Law Diversity Scholarship, which has now expanded to award nine scholarships per year to pre-law students.
