Biography
Tyson Ehlinger is a trusts and estates attorney in Jackson Walker’s Austin office. Tyson advises clients on wealth preservation strategies and estate plans that minimize their estate, gift and income tax exposure, maintain family harmony, and optimize charitable desires. Tyson helps clients with gift and estate tax planning, including the creation of wills and trusts. Tyson assists family members with the estate and trust administration process after a death has occurred.
Tyson’s experience includes the creation of partnerships and LLCs as well as partnership tax planning, such as advising clients on complex partnership tax issues and partnership tax returns. He also has helped manage family investment partnerships, reviewing private placement memoranda, operating agreements, and subscription documents for private equity investments.
