Biography

Patrick B. Tobin represents clients in a variety of corporate, securities and other business law matters, including mergers, acquisitions, equity and debt financings, public and private securities offerings, venture capital funding, private equity transactions, international transactions, and other general business law matters. Mr. Tobin has experience in a variety of industries, including technology, construction, food and beverage, financial services, health care, oil and gas, and energy. He is the Managing Partner of the firm's San Antonio office.

Organization Membership

Mr. Tobin is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and a member of the Texas Association of Bank Counsel, the State Bar of Texas and its Business Law Section, and the San Antonio Bar Association. He is a former Board member of the Austin/San Antonio Chapter of the Texas General Counsel Forum.

Community Involvement

Mr. Tobin is also active in numerous charitable and civic organizations in San Antonio, serving as President of the Rotary Club of San Antonio, Director and Past Membership Council Chairman of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Board of Trustees and Chair of the World Affairs Council of San Antonio, and Trustee and Secretary of the San Antonio Museum of Art. In addition, Mr. Tobin has been Senior Warden and served on the Vestry of Christ Episcopal Church.

Mr. Tobin was named a "Super Lawyer" (2003-2011) by Thomson Reuters. He is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America under Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Securities Law (2005-2006) and under Corporate Law (2006-2013). He was named Who's Who in Law & Accounting, an "Outstanding Lawyer" and to the 2012 "Who's Who in Energy" list by the San Antonio Business Journal. He was named a San Antonio "Best Lawyer" by S.A. Scene (2007-2009, 2011-2012).
