We regularly represent banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions, as well as nonbank lenders such as public and private companies and insurers. We structure and document everything from straightforward term loans and revolving lines of credit to complex credit facilities for multimillion-dollar real estate portfolios. Members of Jackson Walkerâs core Finance team have weathered two significant downturns in the commercial finance market and have substantial experience in loan modification, debt restructuring, workouts and foreclosures. We represent the full spectrum of lenders, from large, multinational financial institutions to regional banks, credit unions, hedge funds and insurance companies in all of their real property lending needs, including construction financing, projects, and permanent mortgage financing. Jackson Walker is pleased to announce the recognition of 75 attorneys by Thomson Reutersâ Super Lawyers in the 2025 “Texas Super Lawyers” list, as well as 66 attorneys as “Texas Rising Stars” for 2025. Tariffs Update: U.S. Largely Reverses 25% Tariffs on Imports from Mexico and Canada; Maintains an Additional 10% Tariff on All Imports from China

Within 48 hours of announcing 25% tariffs on imports of Mexico and most imports of Canada, the U.S. largely reversed course Thursday afternoon and announced goods eligible for treatment under the 2020 United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (âUSMCAâ) could enter the United States duty free until April 2, 2025.
