James Prappas Speaks on Immigration at Conference in Mexico

jackson-walker-attorney-thumb-PrappasJamesJackson Walker partner James Prappas gave a presentation titled “U.S. Immigration Compliance and Visa Issues Selective Overview” for the Southwestern Institute for International and Comparative Law’s First Annual Workshop in Querétaro, Mexico on February 23, 2017.

His presentation was given in Spanish, and covered emerging issues in immigration. He discussed new legislation introduced by the Trump administration, including the recent Executive Orders that have led to a high level of uncertainty in immigration law.

The Southwestern Institute for International and Comparative Law (SWIICL) is part of The Center for American and International Law, and offers programming based on international business transactions and private investments worldwide.

James D. Prappas focuses on immigration law, advising clients on strategic immigration planning and related transactional matters.
