BTI Brand Elite 2017 Ranks Jackson Walker Among Top Law Firms

March 22, 2017 | Spotlight

Jackson Walker has been named to the BTI Brand Elite 2017: Client Perceptions of the Best-Branded Law Firms list by BTI Consulting Group. The report relies on information gathered from BTI’s Annual Survey of General Counsel, which polls general counsel and legal decision makers at some of the world’s largest organizations. This year, the survey was given to 633 general counsel at companies with at least $1 billion in revenue.  According to BTI, “less than half the market is able to identify a single differentiating characteristic of top law firms.”

Jackson Walker’s inclusion among the BTI brand elite signals its position as a standout firm in the minds of general counsel. BTI’s brand valuation criteria identify firms known for the intangibles that differentiate law firms:

  • Persuasiveness, which refers to the firm’s ability to influence client choice, hiring, and rates,
  • Strength, which refers to the firm’s position as “top-of-mind” for legal decision makers, and
  • Competitiveness, which refers to firm’s standing in relation to others.

The research is independent and unbiased. No law firm or attorney submits nominations or provides client names to BTI and no firm can pay to be included on the list.

According to BTI, “Corporate counsel rank Jackson Walker in the top 15% of all law firms for using technology in new ways to add value.”

BTI is a leading provider of strategic research on how clients acquire, manage and evaluate their professional service providers. The company conducts independent benchmarking, awareness, and client satisfaction research for organizations around the world.
