Lekha Gopalakrishnan’s practice spans a wide range of IP matters, including patentability and infringement analyses, trademark and copyright counseling, technology licensing, and IP litigation. She regularly advises clients in the healthcare, life sciences, and higher education sectors, helping them protect and leverage their innovations in competitive and highly regulated markets.
Lekha guides clients through domestic and international patent procurement, portfolio management, and IP due diligence for transactions and licensing. She is known for her ability to translate complex technical concepts into strong legal strategies and for her client-focused, solutions-oriented approach. Active in the professional community, Lekha contributes thought leadership and mentorship within the IP field.
Allen Moon’s practice focuses on patent prosecution and intellectual property litigation. With a technical background in mechanical and life sciences technologies, he brings experience across diverse industries, including aerospace, oil field tools, and medical devices. His work includes preparing and prosecuting utility and design patents, managing post-grant proceedings, and advising on infringement and validity matters.
Allen is recognized for his precise, strategic counsel and ability to support clients through every stage of the IP lifecycle. He has successfully represented clients in complex litigation and helps companies from startups to industry leaders develop and grow their IP portfolios.

Lekha received her B.S. from the University of Madras in India and her M.S. from the University of Texas at Arlington. She earned her Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from Northwestern University Medical School and her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law. Prior to law school, Lekha was a postdoctoral fellow at UT Southwestern in Dallas. Allen received his B.S. from Texas A&M University and earned his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law.
