Meet Denise
Denise Rose, chair of Jackson Walker’s Government Relations & Public Policy group, is a leading expert in Texas legislative and regulatory matters, with nearly two decades of experience at the Texas Capitol. She provides strategic counsel to clients ranging from non-profits to Fortune 500 companies, focusing on legislative advocacy and regulatory solutions. Denise is renowned for securing historic funding increases, particularly in healthcare, and has played a key role in drafting legislation, amendments, and budget requests.
Recognized as a “budget expert” and ranked in Band 1 by Chambers in 2024, Denise has achieved significant successes, including securing funding for graduate medical education and the largest funding increase in history for family violence services. A respected mentor, she was honored with the Pink Granite Supporter of Women Award in 2021 for her work at the Capitol and her community service.
