Chip Babcock Receives Ronald D. Secrest Outstanding Trial Lawyer Award from the Texas Bar Foundation

Jackson Walker partner Chip Babcock has received the prestigious Ronald D. Secrest Outstanding Trial Lawyer Award from the Texas Bar Foundation. This award will be presented to Chip Babcock at the Texas Bar Foundation Annual Dinner on June 17, 2016, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Given annually, the Ronald D. Secrest Outstanding Trial Lawyer Award recognizes a trial lawyer who has demonstrated high ethical and moral standards and exceptional professional conduct, thus enhancing the image of the trial lawyer.

Chip Babcock is a First Amendment lawyer and trial and appellate attorney who has handled many high-profile litigation matters including more than 100 jury cases. Over the course of his career, he has represented a myriad of Fortune 500 clients, both as plaintiffs and defendants. In addition to this most recent recognition, Chip Babcock was named a “Lion of the Texas Bar” in 2015 by Texas Lawbook and The Dallas Morning News. He was named a 2015 Trial Ace by Law360 and was selected as one of the “25 Greatest Texas Lawyers of the Past Quarter-Century” by Texas Lawyer in 2010.
