Courtney Carlson Spotlighted in South Texas College of Law’s “Donor Report”

Courtney was featured in the “Spotlight on Scholars” section of the report where she spoke about her passion for litigation and her path to joining the legal world.

“No day or case is the same,” Courtney said. “You inherit a set of facts and are tasked with presenting responses and solutions. I particularly enjoy state court practice because of the procedural nuances.”

About Courtney

Courtney T. Carlson is an associate in the litigation and environmental sections at Jackson Walker. Courtney represents clients in a variety of business and commercial litigation matters, including companies in the energy and financial industries.

Courtney practices in both state and federal courts but focuses on Texas litigation; she has co-authored and presented numerous CLE articles on Texas procedural updates and related issues. Courtney also practices environmental law.  Her experience includes active participation in several site cleanup and remediation projects and related litigation matters. She commonly advises clients regarding the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA).
