Jackson Walker is pleased to announce that Daniel J. Kirksey has joined the firm as a corporate partner in the Finance practice in our Houston office. Daniel represents private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and other corporate borrowers in a wide range of debt financing transactions.

Daniel advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in leveraged finance transactions across the full investment lifecycle—including platform and add-on acquisitions, repricing and related amendments, refinancings, recapitalizations, restructurings, exit transactions, and other strategic financing matters.
His experience includes underwritten and best-efforts acquisition financings, cash flow and asset-based facilities, reserve-based loans, sustainability-linked credit facilities, equipment financings, letter-of-credit facilities, debtor-in-possession financings, and exit financings. He works with sponsors and their portfolio company borrowers to structure and negotiate financing solutions that support growth, liquidity, and value creation.

Daniel received his B.S., summa cum laude, from Kansas State University and his J.D., cum laude, from Washburn University School of Law.
