Jackson Walker director of library and research services Greg Lambert was quoted in an Oct. 3, 2014, Law360 article about how law firms are increasingly using high-tech tools to add value for their clients.

The article, titled “6 Hot New Technologies Your Firm Needs,” discussed innovative technologies including firm-branded software, which enables law firms to give their clients access to computer applications that provide simple workflows to handle routine legal matters.

“We hate the words ‘commoditized work,’ but you have to admit there are plenty of things that don’t rise to the level of needing to fully hire a law firm — but are still things where the… in-house counsel could really use some help,” Mr. Lambert told the publication.

These types of applications provide a marketing tool for law firms while enabling them to create cost efficiency for their clients, he added.
