Jackson Walker is honored to announce that Houston Healthcare attorney Baker Howry has been elected to serve on the South Texas College of Law Houston (STCL) Alumni Association Board of Directors.

The mission of the STCL Alumni Association is to promote alumni engagement and celebrate the accomplishments of the alumni community. The Board is composed of a diverse group of legal leaders representing a broad range of class years, professional backgrounds, and practice areas, all committed to advancing South Texas College of Law Houston’s mission.

As a member of the board, Baker will work alongside fellow alumni to strengthen connections with the law school and champion the accomplishments of the alumni community while supporting its programs and students.

Meet Baker

Baker Howry is an attorney in Jackson Walker’s Healthcare & Life Sciences practice in the Houston office, advising healthcare and veterinary care clients across Texas and nationwide. Her work spans regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters, including healthcare fraud and abuse, with particular depth in digital health, telemedicine, and telehealth. She regularly counsels hospitals, physician practices, and emerging companies on entity formation, governance, regulatory compliance, HIPAA, data privacy, managed care contracting, and licensure and scope-of-practice issues. In recognition of her practice, Baker has been named “Ones to Watch” in the area of Appellate Practice by The Best Lawyers in America.
