Jackson Walker was named a ‘Texas Powerhouse’ by Law360 in the online magazine’s first-ever listing of the top regional firms in Texas.

In a June 13, 2014, article, Law360 recognized 13 law firms for having a sizable presence and significant accomplishments in the region. The prestigious list included “litigation boutiques, regional power players and nationally recognized brands that have established themselves as forces to be reckoned with in Texas as firms compete for work in one of the nation’s hottest legal markets,” according to the publication.

The article noted Jackson Walker for its “346-strong Texas team” and singled out its precedent-setting First Amendment work: “Jackson Walker continued to burnish its reputation as a First Amendment defender, winning more than half a dozen cases that accused firm clients of defamation and shaping the boundaries of a new state free-speech law.”
