John Jansonius to Present at UT School of Law’s Labor and Employment Law Conference

Jackson Walker partner John V. Jansonius will be a speaker at The University of Texas School of Law’s 32nd Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference. The event is scheduled to take place at Austin Marriott South on June 5-6, 2025.

John will co-present a session titled “National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Update” alongside Rod Tanner (Tanner and Associates, PC). This session will provide a comprehensive review of the significant changes that have impacted both unionized and non-unionized workers and employers over the past year under the National Labor Relations Act.

In addition to his role as a speaker, John is also a member of the Conference Faculty.

The conference is recognized as a premier program for employment law practitioners in Texas. Meet John

John V. Jansonius focuses on defense of employment discrimination claims, wrongful discharge claims, unfair labor practice claims, and denial of benefits claims. He has represented clients in numerous jury and nonjury trials in state and federal court and has presented oral arguments to the U.S. Supreme Court and the federal courts of appeals. John is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, is a fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. He has been recognized among the Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business since the first edition, the Chambers Global Guide since 2018, The Best Lawyers in America since 1997, and Lawdragon‘s 500 Leading U.S. Corporate Employment Lawyers in 2020.
