Jackson Walker partner William R. Jenkins was recently selected for inclusion in the Fort Worth Business Press’ 2013 “Power Attorneys” list.

The prestigious list includes 18 attorneys in the Fort Worth area whose reputation in law is unmatched. The “Power Attorneys” are first nominated by their peers in the legal community; then, an independent panel of judges peruses and researches all nominations to assemble the final list.

Mr. Jenkins and the other 17 attorneys will be recognized at a luncheon at the Fort Worth City Club on October 9, 2013.

Mr. Jenkins has a state and national trial and appellate practice. He has handled many significant cases, including successfully defending several shareholder suits related to the merger of a Texas real estate investment trust with a New York investment company. His practice focuses on disputes related to mergers and acquisitions, internal business disputes, and real estate and construction matters. Mr. Jenkins received his B.B.A. in Real Estate and Urban Land Development, as well as Finance, from The University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
