Jackson Walker partner Joshua Romero was quoted in a Jan. 2, 2015, Law360 article titled “Legal Malpractice Cases To Watch In 2015.”

The article discussed how malpractice cases from 2014 are still unraveling and could have an impact on law firms and attorneys in the upcoming years. According to the article, there has been an increase in visibility for such litigation as well as a trend towards firms being more willing to stand their ground instead of seeking a quick settlement.

“The other day, I was driving and I saw a big billboard with a lawyer’s face, and in enormous print, it said, ‘We sue lawyers!'” said Mr. Romero. “It’s a good reminder of the risks practitioners are facing every day. There are plaintiffs malpractice lawyers out there willing and very able to sue when there are deviations from the standard of care.”
